Let me introduce AlloFresh, established by Bukalapak and Trans Retail Indonesia

After several years focus on online marketplace, Startup Bukalapak finally opens to Online to Offline (O2O) concept where they will combine online platform on offline trade. It sounds great to see and has been running around 5 years.

There are so many clients called Mitra Bukalapak throughout the country. To be honest, it is already good move by Bukalapak on O2O concept.

Does it mean they will stop creating something amazing?

No, Bukalapak with Trans Retail Indonesia and Growtheum Capital Partners started to launch AlloFresh. They share ownership of AlloFresh and of course, the various amazing knowledge of 3 companies are united.

What is that?

Online grocery platform that offering more than 150,000 SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) in 144 categories. Is it enough? Wait a minute. They also offer 3 hours delivery across Indonesia which means totally fast delivery. Fabulous!

As the Bukalapak’s CEO said, AlloFresh will take a lead in retail ecosystem especially since they want to expand the area and customer. It is going to create tremendous opportunity that been predicted to grow annually.

Talking about online groceries market, there are much less than e-commerce activity when people keep doing online shopping. Only around 2% of online groceries market compared to whole Indonesian groceries. Actually in some countries, usually western countries, online groceries has grown so much and this is a chance to develop in Indonesian market.

For the beginning, AlloFresh will start on 7 locations in Jakarta where Transmart located. Afterwards, they will expand to until 138 Transmart stores all over Indonesia. It means the 3 hours delivery will be counted from each Transmart area. Anyway, Transmart was known as Carrefour, French Company, before acquired by Trans Corp, holding company in Jakarta.

Any positive points for us?

It will have much positive impact since there are different knowledge such as sourcing, distribution, technology, finance, marketing and service that will be integrated. The main target of AlloFresh is of course, to be leader of daily necessities.

For customer, they will be spoiled, in a positive way, by just doing a few simple clicks and 3 hours later, the goods are delivered to their home. Most important is customer doesn’t need to get out of home when they need something necessary. Interested to try?
