Stay or leave your job on this pandemic?

During this pandemic, there are always arguments come about staying or leaving your job. It is quite popular theme to discuss because some will say yes to stay, while the other has no choice until choosing to leave.

What makes it so popular?

Corona pandemic makes everyone fell unsecure with their life, including their job. They can’t say they are safe at the office because jobless is possible to reach them out anytime. No office can guarantee their job since the business must be distracted by this pandemic.

Stay or Leave?

Here comes popular opinion for debate between staying and leaving the job. People who want to stay, think that opportunity is too small for new vacancy. While people who wish to leave, already give up with their condition and better to leave before get fired.

Talking about resign, you must to make sure that you have emergency fund for months since you have no warranty to be paid after leaving your office. In fact, so many people are in hurry to leave as they can’t keep their motivation at least to survive. After that, they apply everywhere but unfortunately still no job they gain. That is actually so pathetic. If still no job, they worry since the fund is running out.

It is better to grab new one first and then ask for resigning from office. Just apply while you are working and it is not a mistake as long as you keep finishing your job desc. Applying to other companies is normal thing to do by most of our employees especially if they need to new working space, ambience or so on.

What about to stay at office? If you are people who don’t want to keep moving, just enjoy your current position. Do your job better and hopefully you will have more benefits, even could be promoted, wherever at this pandemic condition.

Many people stay probably because some reasons such as their permanent employees, handle urgent job or maybe the company business doesn’t get huge impact of this pandemic so they don’t need to cut employees.

In a nutshell, you will have control of yourself to choose keep working or finding new one. Nothing wrong as long as you understand the risk and benefit you will achieve.

If you feel better at one condition, choose and enjoy your choice.
