What do You Think about Startup with Regular Working Hours?
Talking about Startup, usually they are popular for flexible working hours, and it seems you can set your own time to finish your job. But what if you hear about Startup with regular working hours?
It seems weird to know Startup with regular working hours. It means you have to work from 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm. It currently happens as some Startups try to apply regular working hours. As people who are used to Startup’s habit, you may be a bit shock to know it.
How can Startup apply regular time?
Perhaps, changing in everything happens currently. Such as Working from Home or Hybrid work appears, then Startup with regular working hours exists. Something surprising actually, but if you look at the impact of Covid, everything should be normal because none is impossible to do.
Maybe there are reasons of Startup to apply regular working hours. But to be honest, it can’t be applied to all division. Some divisions who need to work in regular working hours are sales, marketing, PR, government relation, legal and finance. It is actually good start. Those should work at regular time since they will meet client at working hours.
It is actually different with other teams such as technology, product, data and customer service. They are better to do on flexible working hours which means can work longer or shorter. As you know, problem about apps can happen anytime. That’s why they should be ready whenever in need.
For the conclusion, some division who work in regular working hours should get the job done at the time. If not, they work overtime. But the others who are in flexible hours, should be ready anytime to solve the problem depend on the function.
Finally, startup with regular working hours is not something strange anymore. Some startups already operate using that time and it is normal, nothing bad happens.
