You should be creative and learn quickly when you are already in Startup. It means you can waste so much time since Startup is well-known for very dynamic ambience. Something can change without clear information and your job is to adapt as soon as possible.
Working in Startup means you have no exact rule or procedure about what to do, except for something already done and has achievement. None guides you slowly about your next responsibility, just like in a corporate or government area. That is why be creative and learn quickly are highly recommended if you want to improve yourself.
When you start working in Startup, perhaps your peers or even superior will tell about ABCD. Afterwards, you do EFGH. Looks similar but different, doesn’t it? Here you need to learn quickly by applying concept on ABCD to EFGH.
Or in figurative language, someone gives you $100 and you should go to a place located 200km. He doesn’t care about what you want to do, as long as you will arrive punctual on good condition.
According to two conditions above, you should be totally creative and learn quickly. Maybe you can look, ask, listen and then apply your idea. If you have idea or new projects, tell your superior on meeting or talk face to face. Your team or superior perhaps will care more to you since you are quite active and give several information.
After telling your idea, you don’t have to worry about the result, accepted or rejected is normal. If accepted, you should prepare the data and make the clear concept to share in a big forum. But if rejected, you may find something new with better concept.Remember, be creative and learn quickly in Startup.
